The incident took place yesterday when a car somehow got into the water 50-yards upstream from the iconic Niagra Falls. And sadly, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

UPDATE: Air Station Detroit helicopter crew members hoisted one female from the vehicle in the Niagara River and transferred her to local EMS. The individual was pronounced deceased on scene. #USCG
